⚓️ Full Boat Restoration Package
“Your Boat — Fully Brought Back. No Corners Cut. No Surface Left Behind.”
If you’re looking for the absolute best possible results, the Restoration Package is the pinnacle of everything we offer. This isn’t just a surface-level clean or even a heavy buff — it’s a complete, every-square-inch rejuvenation, customized to your boat’s exact needs.
Unlike our other packages, which follow a standardized process, this one is 100% result-based and boat-specific. It adapts to your gelcoat condition, age, oxidation level, hardware, interior, and every other factor that affects how your boat can look — and perform — at its very best.
Understanding Your Gelcoat: Why Restoration Is Necessary
Gelcoat is similar to paint, but it’s thicker, tougher, and built to protect your boat’s surface. Over time, however, all gelcoat oxidizes — whether it starts soft and porous or dense and hardened.
The biggest factor that affects gelcoat is age. As boats get older, gelcoat generally becomes harder and less forgiving.
Soft gelcoat (common on newer boats) is flexible and easier to polish, but scratches more easily.
Hard gelcoat (common on older boats) is tougher, but more heat-sensitive and less responsive to polishing.
Another key point: the deeper you go into the gelcoat, the harder and less porous it becomes. Older boats often have less gelcoat remaining, and their top layers are more weathered and oxidized. This makes restoration more challenging — sanding and polishing adjustments are often required to remove oxidation, and correction takes more effort because hardened gelcoat doesn’t respond the same way as a newer surface.
That’s why our restoration process is never one-size-fits-all. We customize every step, because no two boats — or their gelcoat layers — age and react the same.
Restoration Process Overview: What’s Included
This package includes every service from all other packages, but with maximum effort, expanded steps, and the highest level of correction and protection. Nothing is skipped. No area is given the “quick” treatment.
Gelcoat Correction & Sanding (Boat-Specific Approach)
Every restoration begins with a test spot to see how your gelcoat responds to heat, compounds, and abrasives. From there, we design a custom plan with as many steps as needed to achieve the best possible result.
The base service starts with a 3-step correction (heavy cut → polish → sealant) — essentially the same foundation as our Buff & Shine Package, but with no limits on time or passes. That’s the starting point included in the base price.
Here’s the difference: unlike Buff & Shine, this package always includes spot sanding and spot polishing where needed, up to about 30% of the boat. That means if certain sections require extra sanding for deep oxidation, or additional polishing with a medium cut where the rest of the boat doesn’t, we correct those areas at no extra charge. Only when sanding or polishing is required on more than 30% of the boat’s surfaces does it count as an additional step with added cost — reflecting the extra time and full-boat work involved.
Because every boat is different, it’s common for restorations to require extra stages beyond the base three steps. Here are a couple of examples:
4-Step Correction: Heavy cut → medium cut → polish → sealant
(with spot sanding and/or spot polishing included where needed, up to 30% of the boat)5-Step Correction: 800-grit sanding → 1000-grit sanding → heavy cut → polish → sealant
(plus built-in spot sanding/polishing for sections with deeper oxidation or heavier defects)
In short, this package expands as needed: steps are added wherever the boat requires them to reach the desired finish. Spot sanding and spot polishing are always included, and only become billable “steps” if large portions of the boat need them.
Upholstery Deep Clean & Protection
Seats cleaned to remove mold, mildew, and stains.
Treated with our top protective product — repels water for months.
No shortcuts — even if polishing creates extra mess, everything is cleaned thoroughly.
Windows
Exterior windows lightly polished (not just wiped down).
Hazing, water spots, and minor flaws removed for better transparency.
Interior windows cleaned thoroughly.
Plastics & Trim Restoration
Black rubbers and plastics treated with a restoration product containing black dye.
Restores faded areas like window trim and textured plastic moldings.

Non-Skid Surfaces (Decking)
Deep cleaned, polished, and waxed (same as Buff & Shine level).
Every rust stain, orange dot, or oxidation mark removed.
Protected with sealant or wax based on surface type.
Cleaning process is more intense and detail-focused than any other package.

Emptied, wiped, cleaned, and protected with spray sealant.
Items inside dusted/wiped down.
Engine compartment lid cleaned (engine itself not detailed).

Machine polishing used only where safe.

Decks, hull sides, and drain areas included.
Acid washing the full hull bottom only incurs extra charge if major scum buildup is present.
